The Entlebucher Mountain Dog

General Appearance

The Entlebucher is the smallest and the most rare of the four Swiss Mountain dogs. He is a medium-sized compact dog of sturdy appearance; well muscled and powerful. The body is slightly elongated and the facial expression is friendly and alert.

Ratio of height at shoulders to length of body= 8:10

Ratio of length of muzzle to length of skull= 9:10


Size

Between 15.5 and 20 inches at the shoulder.
